Occupational Therapy (OT)
Occupational Therapists help clients achieve the highest level of functional independence in the areas of self care, home management and community integration. At a basic level, OT focuses treatment on the recovery of function necessary to engage in daily activities such as bathing, grooming, eating, dressing and/or toileting. OT is usually recommended for clients with deficits resulting from arthritis, hand and arm injury, stroke rehabilitation, impaired vision, respiratory disorders, neurological disorders and developmental delays.
