In our clinic setting, pediatric therapy is unique because of the one-on-one interaction between the therapist and the child/family members. Family participation is encouraged to maximize outcomes. The therapists combine their skills and creativity to create programs for the children using a variety of specialized therapy equipment, games and toys that allow the children to participate in a fun, rewarding experience. The therapeutic team works together to deliver care best suited for each child and to maximize the rehabilitative process. Helping Hands Therapy outpatient clinics have therapists that specialize in the evaluation and treatment of Autism, cleft palate, pediatric orthopedics, pediatric neurology, developmentally delayed pediatrics and muscle tone/spasticity disorders.
Helping Hands Therapy partners with school districts and private schools/preschools to provide therapy services in the school setting. Our pediatric therapists provide treatment for students who are mandated to receive physical, occupational and/or speech therapy services in school. For additional information on our services in the school setting, please contact us.
Helping Hands Therapy also can participate in early intervention programs for children birth to age three who qualify for therapeutic and or educational services. These services are provided primarily in the home, but therapeutic services are available in our out-patient clinics.
